JUSTIN BAYLISS - Turning Customer Service into Customer Experiences
Justin Bayliss is the Customer Relationship, Growth, and Retention Specialist at Five Star Experiences, and uses a variety of tried and true methods to help businesses develop greater relations with their customers.
Born into a family retail business, Justin learned the craft of Sales and Customer Service watching his father in their small country town, where success was less about wheeling and dealing and more about building long-term relationships within the community.
For over 25 years’ now Justin has continued to implement this fundamental philosophy of focussing on people before business. He believes success in business is less about what you do with people and more about how you do it with them.
Justin’s passion is working with people and assisting them to see the true benefits of developing new systems and practices that make their relationships with both internal (team) and external customers more effective.
He has worked with numerous clients across a wide range of industries to establish relationship-based sales practices and true customer focus in every aspect of Customer Service with a particular emphasis on developing a customer-centric culture underpinned by strongly engaged and aligned teams.
He believes strongly in the need to shift our focus from Customer Service to Customer Experience. While the straight forward tick the box approach of many operators might deliver on the service expectations, in many cases it still falls well short on delivering an experience visitors would be eager to return for themselves or recommend to others.
