Working for NBN Co across South East Queensland Metro areas, Justin is responsible for managing corporate expectation and reputation for the delivery of the NBN access network build. Justin’s major stakeholders include all levels of Government, local media, local business and community stakeholder groups. Justin is passionate about working actively with all sectors of the community to ensure the opportunities provided by the NBN access network are understood, embraced and functioning at their optimum.
Justin understands the importance of developing Information Communications and Technology (ICT) infrastructure as the next phase in telecommunications industry growth. The benefits of a connected, reliable broadband internet experience will not only improve the lifestyles of individuals and their communities, but will have broader positive impacts on business, health, education and social awareness worldwide.
May has been part of the Telecommunications industry for over 19 years. Starting her career in Cairns with the Telstra call centres, she has moved around Australia with Telstra taking positions in finance, Networks Operations, customer management and contractor engagement. She relocated to Toowoomba as Telstra’s Area General Manager in 2013, and has recently moved to Brisbane to take up the position of General Manager for Brisbane Metro South East.
As General Manager, May is responsible for Telstra’s presence and relationships with customers across SEQ. This responsibility also extends to stakeholder management (including Federal and State MPs, local council and disaster management groups), media and community engagement. May is a member of the Australian Institute of Management and is heavily involved with community advocacy groups.
