March Business Breakfast - Local Council Candidate Forum
In the lead-up to the March Council Elections, the Southside Chamber has invited the local candidates from the area to introduce themselves and let us know how they plan to help the community, and local businesses within it.
We have invited diverse candidates from both the Holland Park and Macgregor Wards to answer questions and learn the concerns of local businesses in their electorate.
HOLLAND PARK WARD CANDIDATES

Karleigh Auguston – Labor Candidate
Karleigh has experience as a primary school teacher for nearly 15 years and also as a policy advisor for the State Government. She has a long history of community involvement in sport and arts organisations.
Karleigh is committed to putting residents first and being a voice for the local community in City Hall. Karleigh lives in Tarragindi with her husband and two young daughters.

Jenny Gamble – Greens Candidate
Jenny Gamble describes herself as a midwife, a mum, a keen gardener, and a bush-care volunteer. She is a Professor of Midwifery and has dedicated her career to improving maternity care and supporting families for the best start to life. She has lived in Holland Park for more than 30 years.
Jenny is a passionate advocate for protection of the environment, more sustainable and higher quality infrastructure, beautification of public spaces, and greater accountability of property developers.
MACGREGOR WARD CANDIDATES
