George Hartnett and Metropolitan Funerals have recently merged to combine into one brand. This merge brings more than 145 years of combined experience in serving families in our local communities of Brisbane, Logan City, Redland City and Moreton Bay.

The role of the Funeral Director is to arrange and conduct Funerals that personalises the family’s needs. We assist in the major decisions that need to be made for example, choice of burial or cremation, is a viewing appropriate, what sort of casket or coffin-this may include one of the coffins from our Lifeart environmental coffin Range.

We have our own Multimedia department that will assist in designing order of service booklets, memorial cards and photographic presentations. For complimentary online tributes we offer a website called Heaven Address. We can provide grief support called My Grief Assist.

Our Mt Gravatt location offers a large chapel which is currently undergoing major refurbishments to modernise and support our client family’s needs.

This chapel also works as a function room to facilitate education seminars, Open Days and networking events.
